Meet Kimberly Founder of AMEND

I am Kimberly Platta, the founder of AMEND, a platform dedicated to demystifying the perimenopause and menopause experience through education, community, and compassion. With 28 years of experience as a registered nurse, I bring both clinical knowledge and personal insight to the conversation around midlife transitions.

After finding myself overwhelmed and under-informed in the midst of my own hormonal shift, I realized just how many women were silently struggling through the same phase—without a roadmap.

AMEND

AMEND was born from my desire to simplify the science, lift the stigma, and create a space where women could feel seen, safe, supported, and even share a laugh along the way.

Kimberly lives in Wausau, Wisconsin, and is passionate about helping women find the answers their mothers never gave them—and start the conversations their daughters will never forget.
